We are originally from Brno and we have our own product that is used by more than 40 million users worldwide and has made it much easier to create websites and e-shops.
Most importantly, we are not a corporate. We may be over 120 people, including 25 developers, but we still fit into a single building where all the decisions are made. So you'll know what's going on and why at all times. We're also not a team that jumps from project to project, we don't deliver as fast as possible at the expense of quality - that's not our style.

Now, we're building the next generation of AI-powered tools to help entrepreneurs, small businesses, and creators succeed online. We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer who can code, experiment, and launch AI-driven features — while also guiding our teams on how to accelerate adoption of AI across the company.
What you'll do
Prototype & build: Kickstart AI projects and quickly deliver working solutions (e.g., natural language, image generation, personalization, automation)
Unblock teams: Act as a coach and problem-solver, helping engineering squads integrate AI into their features
Research & apply: Stay on top of the latest AI/ML research and open-source frameworks, and translate insights into practical solutions
Influence product direction: Recommend where AI can truly create value — and where it's not worth the investment
Evangelize AI: Help us showcase Webnode's AI innovation externally (blog posts, conferences, social media)
Who we're looking for
Strong software engineering background (Python, Node.js, or similar).
Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace).
Curiosity for research — ability to digest academic papers and apply them.
Solid product sense: you understand trade-offs and can suggest practical product directions.
Strong communication skills: can coach teams and represent Webnode externally.
Technologies and skills we value
- AI and Machine Learning – modern models (deep learning, LLMs), embeddings, NLP, MCP
- Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, FastAPI) + experience with backend development (PHP)
- Cloud – primarily AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, RDS, Aurora, Lambda, S3, EKS...)
- MLOps and DevOps – CI/CD pipelines for AI models, Docker, Kubernetes
- Data pipelines and data handling – SQL, data optimization for training and inference
- Model versioning and monitoring (MLflow, Weights & Biases)
- Communication and organizational skills – ability to coordinate work across teams
