Product designer
Full time • Brno/Hybrid mode • Unlimited holiday days
Webnode is the largest Czech platform that allows anyone to easily create and manage a website, e-shop, or blog—without the need to know how to code. Digital product that helps millions of people around the world to be visible online. We have a global reach and more than 50 million active projects. We offer everything from domains to hosting to a web editor. Everything takes place from our offices in Brno, where, in addition to work, there is also a great atmosphere, colleagues, and fun. Together with Honza and Dalík, we're currently looking for a colleague to join their product team.

Who are we looking for?
What about your role?
It will not only be about our website builder, but also about other key parts of the product - the purchasing process, onboarding, administration, and much more. It may seem like a lot, but we strive to make the entire product as simple as possible. Our main target audience is sole traders and small businesses. That is why "simplicity" comes first. You won't just be sitting over Figma and putting together wireframes and designs. You'll be involved in projects from the initial idea to the final deployment – you'll help develop the idea, test it, monitor its development, and evaluate how it has proven itself. We work agilely in scrum. We have two-week sprints. We deploy in small steps, so you'll see the results of your work quickly and often.
Let's be a little detailed, so you get the gist
- You'll design interfaces and features for the website builder and other parts of the product (checkout, onboarding, marketing pages, administration).
- You'll create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
- You'll work with our design system—helping to create, maintain, and expand it.
- You'll work closely with development, product, marketing, data, and customer support teams; direct and transparent communication is the foundation of success.
- You'll monitor project development and communicate changes across teams.
- You'll occasionally coordinate integrations with partners and seek the best solutions within our platform.
- You fine-tune details before release and collect feedback after launch
- We continuously discuss proposals with other product managers, give each other honest feedback, and help each other fine-tune both the assignment and the results. We play as a team and support each other
- You will have a high degree of responsibility on each project, but you will never be alone in it
Hard skills we need
- You have extensive experience with UX/UI or product design – ideally across both web and mobile (we don't have a separate mobile app and don't plan to develop one)
- You know how to design in Figma – from quick wireframes to components in the design system
- You have a feel for visuals, but you know that functionality comes first
- You understand UX principles, think about how users use the product, and know why testing is important.
- You don't mind diving into research or asking for feedback from customers.
- You have experience working with developers and understand basic technical possibilities and limitations.
- You know how to effectively use AI tools in design, research, or content tuning. We don't want to miss out on this, so we are trying to add AI to the product itself.
- You can explain your proposals, accept feedback, and work with the team to find the best solutions. This is useful for meetings or occasional presentations.
- You can think in context—not just how things look, but why and for whom they are created.
What do we offer you in return?
- Modern offices with great views and a pleasant atmosphere
- Flexible working hours and the option to work from home (up to 3–4 days a week)
- Unlimited vacation – we know that rest is important
- Support for professional growth – courses, conferences, and tools of your choice
- Contribution to any courses – whether you enjoy photography, guitar, or even brewing beer
- Company nursery right next to the office
- Company events and joint activities throughout the year
- Sports challenges with rewards for activity and a charitable focus
- Great people around you who will support you and help you fit in quickly. It sounds like a corporate cliché, but it's one of the things that is praised in regular satisfaction surveys
We would love to see a sample of your work/portfolio and resume. In addition to meeting with HR and the product team, you will also be given a short task to complete during the selection process. If everything works out, we would love to welcome you to our team.
Dalík, Honza, and Matěj
